Talented Lady Gaga was saved from cocaine addiction by the spirit of her dead aunt. The eccentric star has revealed her life spiraled into a world of heavy drug use in a bid to replicate the lifestyles of her musical idols. The ‘Paparazzi‘ singer would lock herself in her bedroom and snort “bags and bags” of cocaine for songwriting inspiration when she was starting out, but realized she was jeopardizing her life when she recalled her aunt Joanne who died at 19. Gaga – real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta – said: “I thought I was going to die. I wanted  to be the artists I loved, like Mick Jagger and Andy Warhol, and I thought the only way to do it was to live the lifestyle. My cocaine soundtrack was always The Cure. I would lock myself in my room and listen to ‘Never Enough’ on repeat while I did bags and bags of cocaine.”But then I realized my father’s sister Joanne, who died at 19, had instilled her spirit in me. Shewas a painter and a poet – and I had a spiritual vision I had to finish her business.” The 23-year-old pop beauty – who began experimenting with cocaine and the hallucinogenic drug LSD after she dropped out of her course at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts when she was 20 – insists her late auntie is still a huge influence on her career. A sex tape allegedly starring Lindsay Lohan is reportedly about to be made public. Oops did she mean to do this? The ‘Mean Girls‘ actress, who recently filmed a documentary about child trafficking in India, is said to be the star of a 47-second clip which could be about to appear on the internet. A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “The video film is dynamite. It is pretty seedy and shows Lindsay engaged in a particular sex act which, obviously, should remain behind closed doors. “Lindsay was desperate to start 2010 off on a good footing and this is the very last thing she needs. If and when it is released on the internet, via a spurious, unofficial website, there is absolutely nothing she or her lawyers can do about it.” Pornographic magazine Hustler is said to be offering $163,000 for the video, which was filmed by a waiter from a chain restaurant. The source added: “She is devastated – particularly as she is working hard on cleaning up her act. Wonder who her co-star in the video might be? I guess we will have to tune in and find out.
