Hot British singer and TV personality Cheryl Cole says she is separating from her husband, football (soccer) player Ashley Cole. She gave him the boot. The 26-year-old Girls Aloud pop singer is a judge for the British reality talent show “The X Factor” along with Simon Cowell. She asked the media to respect her privacy “during this difficult time” in a statement issued Tuesday by her publicist. Ashley Cole plays left back for Chelsea and the England national team. British media had speculated the marriage was in trouble after tabloids published front-page stories reportedly linking Ashley Cole to other women. The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer sought comfort from ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ professional performer Derek Hough after texting her husband, soccer star Ashley Cole, to tell him their marriage was over and he should move out of their marital home. Cheryl, 26, fled the U.K. for Los Angeles last week after lurid allegations of Ashley cheating on her with five other women emerged. How awful for her.

Amy Adams, the “Leap Year” actress – who is currently expecting her first child – says she knew almost straight away actor Darren Le Gallo was the one for her but it was six years before he finally popped the question.  She said: “I knew that I wanted to marry him after about three dates, but it was six years before he proposed. In the second year especially, I really, really, really wanted to be engaged to him. But he was just taking his time. Eventually, I adopted the philosophy that he wasn’t ready and I wasn’t in a hurry, so I knew that it would be worth the wait.” Although Darren wasn’t in a hurry to propose, Amy knew it was going to happen because they had already discussed marriage.  She told the Independent newspaper: “I trusted that it would happen eventually because we communicated our intentions with one another. It wasn’t as if I was waiting in the dark. There have been cases when I have worked for a long time on films away from home and he has sacrificed so much to come visit me and keep our lives together. All I had to do was be patient and understanding.” And so she has, we wish her good luck.

Sad Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly visited divorce lawyers to help them separate. This only  happens in Hollywood.  The pair – who aren’t married, but have been dating since 2004 and raise six children together – are believed to have signed legal documents earlier this month with the plan to split up in the near future. So much for family values and trying to work out there problems. The legal document will reportedly see their $330 million fortune halved in two, while the pair will have joint custody of their kids. A source told the News of the World newspaper: “The document was signed in early January. Both Brad and Angelina had signed it. The contract was like a tailor-made version of a pre-nuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple’s split. “It seemed clear they want the world to know they’ll both play a part in the upbringing of the children. But Angelina will actually be the one who lives with them full-time.” They have three adopted children, Maddox, eight, Pax, six, and Zahara, five, as well as three biological kids, Shiloh, three and 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne. It is believed the pair visited a top Los Angeles law firm in December last year, and have since hired an attorney specializing in celebrity divorces.
While an official separation date has not been confirmed, it has been claimed the couple plan to announce their split in the near future.
