The Poker Face singer was given an early Christmas present after hearing the news about her debut disc during her concert at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday (December 23, 2009).
She was embraced by her crew of back-up dancers as she stood in awe of the framed tribute, wiping away tears if joy for all her hard work.
She sobbed as she told the crowd, “I can’t believe my record came out a year ago and you guys bought eight million of them. You are the most wonderful fans. And thank you for making the girl who felt like a freak feel like she belongs.” You do belong and keep up the good work. We expect more of the same kind of music from her. Josh Duhamel, the ‘Transformers‘ actor – who has had a rocky first year of marriage with his Black Eyed Peas star wife, Fergie, following accusations of adultery and break-ups – says he wants nothing more than to spend time at home with her over the holiday period.  He said: “This Christmas I get to go home and we get to have a lot of time together so that’s nice. It’s my favorite time and she is everything to me. I can’t wait.”  Josh, 37, was accused of cheating on the singer while he was away filming action movies after a U.S. stripper claimed she met him when he turned up at the club she worked at, they swapped numbers and met up several days later.  Josh vehemently denied the rumors and Fergie later branded the claims as “ridiculous” and stood by her husband. A source said: “She sees acting as a natural progression in her career. One idea she has is for a rock opera which would be a huge, big budget movie made to her own very unique ideas. But she is also keen on straight dramatic roles.
“She has the drive and confidence to make it big as an actress. It’s just a matter of finding time when she is not committed to her first love – music.”

Jennifer Aniston sat for a provocative GQ cover wearing nothing, but a tie! The accompanying interview addresses rumors about John Mayer and her relationship with him.

“I am not having his baby, and I have not popped the question,” the actress, 39, tells January’s GQ (on stands Dec. 23). She jokes and she flirts with the camera for a sexually charged shoot. As for her feelings about Mayer, 31, she says, “Honestly, did not know much about him before I met him. But what I can say is that I had no idea what an extraordinary musician he is.

She is currently working on a film called Pumas, which is about two aspiring cougars. Sounds like a blast. She says, “It is a comment on the sexual double standard, and what’s been ironic is how hard it’s been to get this movie made,” she says. “Studios want it, but they are afraid of Middle America. She is talented, in demand and has a wonderful boyfriend. What more can a girl ask for?
